He was Councillor Mike Del Grande's former co-worker who served Scarborough-Agincourt Ward 39. He is promising excellent customer services by getting back to residents within 24 hours (Toronto Sun).
Ng has experience working at Toronto City Hall, Parliament of Canada, Government of Hong Kong and Cathay Pacific Airways. He graduated from Albert Campbell C.I. and University of Toronto. He is fluent in English French, Mandarin and Cantonese.
It is mentioned in a Toronto blog that "Franco Ng wants to kick start a real sense of community in Ward 39, put it on the map as somewhere people want to visit and move to. There’s a whole new world of regional discourse and planning he wants to move on, a dynamic that’s very much in play for parts of Toronto where you simply cross a street to get to another municipality."
There were more than 200 supporters attended the recent fundraiser event for Franco. The supporters include Senators, MPs, current city councillors and residents of ward 39.
