Sam Horrigan (1981-) is an actor who grew up in Davis. He began his career as a child actor around the age of 12; as a teenager, he was notable for his appearances as the lead character's son on the Grace Under Fire sitcom. He also had roles in films such as Little Giants and the TV movie remake of Escape to Witch Mountain. As an adult, he has continued to work primarily in television series with guest appearances on shows such as CSI and Desperate Housewives. In 2007, he appeared as himself, a male "beauty", on the fourth season of the Beauty and the Geek reality show. On the 12th episode, he brought his "geek" partner, Nicole Morgan, to Davis to meet his family and friends. They were introduced to each other at The Graduate, the local establishment in which Sam's parents first met.
