Regular Events

Open hours at Davis Makerspace which has a  collection of electronic and hardware tools open for public use. We have at least one working 3D printer, a plotter, oscilloscopes, a foam cutter, lots of tools power and otherwise. Plus good Ethernet and WiFi, Kodi based sound and projector available for community use. Davis Community Network also sponsors a free tech support cafe, and is able to consult on hardware, software, Internet, and DavisGIG. Feel free to call the number at the space if you can't come down to our building. Musically, we feature Nu Disco, Deep House, or other electronica that is generally less than 2 weeks old, or KDRT.

Davis Swing Dancers meets every Monday from 8-11pm. The FREE beginner drop in lesson starts at 8pm. There is social dancing from 9 - 11pm with great swing music. No partner or experience required. 

We teach Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, and more! Swing by Giedt Hall at 8. 

Davis Community Meals offers a free meal on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and lunch on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Participants often include seniors, low-income and homeless individuals, and families. Everyone is welcome.

Enjoy your favorite ice cream for only a dollar! Note: Expect a long line, but it's not bad if you go early.

Enjoy a great workout with an energetic student group and learn Chinese martial arts! After a one week trial there is a $25 membership fee per quarter or $60 membership fee per year.
